High Protein Creamy Oats

This creamy and healthy oatmeal is super easy to make, with the perfect sweetness and creaminess. I love it, it's sweet and the ingredients are very easy to get! It's also gluten-free, dairy-free, and high in protein. 🤤.

If you are one of those who like sweet things in the morning, you will LOVE this recipe. In addition, you will also be eating the protein you need to stay satiated until your next meal!

 

If you are looking for a gluten-free recipe, this option is excellent. But remember to choose your oats well. While oats are naturally gluten-free, they are often processed on equipment that also processes gluten-containing ingredients. So, for that reason, if you have celiac disease or you have gluten intolerance, you'll want to make sure to look for certified gluten-free oats. My favorite gluten-free oats are Bob's Red Mill brand.

 High-Protein Creamy Oats 

​

 Preparation Time: 10 minutes  

​

 Portions: 1 

​
Ingredients:

​

  • Rolled oats gluten free. Approximately 1/2 to 2/3 cup according to your objectives

  • 1/3 cup or about 90 g of egg whites (preferably organic)

  • A splash of lactose-free milk, oats, almond or coconut unsweetened (use our favorite!)

Toppings:

​

  • Your favorite fruit! Here I'm using raspberries, but strawberries, blueberries, apple, or banana go perfect as well

  • Nuts or almonds

  • Cinnamon and Stevia to taste

​

Instructions:

​

  • Preheat some water (about half cup) over medium-high heat.

  • Add some cinnamon with the water.

  • When it starts boiling, add the oatmeal and leave it on low heat.

  • When it starts boiling, add the egg whites and (VERY IMPORTANT) do not stop stirring for approx. 1 minute, otherwise the egg whites will separate from the oats.

  • Keep stirring occasionally for about 4-5 minutes.

  • Add a splash of milk to cool it down.

  • Add your toppings and enjoy! ðŸ¤¤
